PRESIDENT GORDON B. HINCKLEY

"To you women of today who are old or young, may I suggest to you that you write, that you keep journals, that you express your thoughts on paper. Writing is a great discipline. It is a tremendous education effort. It will assist you in various ways, and you will bless the lives of many-now and in the years to come, as you put on paper some of your experiences and some of your musings"

It feels like Spring is just around the corner!  We cant wait for warmer weather to play outside. We are counting down the days until our trip to Cancun.  It will be the perfect get-a-way.  We are taking the kids and going with Gary and Dixie, Kevin, Nicole and Beth.  Im curious how Max will be on this trip.  He is a Holy Roller!  This kid rolls everywhere- maybe someday he will crawl.  He doesnt have any teeth yet and he's 9 months, but we love it- it makes him look like a little baby.

Everyday Lilly asks me how many days until her birthday-  i think its 26 days. She is having a Dora Party.  Saturday, she went to her friend Kimberly's puppie party and is now more excited than ever for her birthday party.  She wants a bike, scooter, swing set and a Fur Baby.  Im thinking just a bike.

Conner is the biggest Jazz Fan.  A few weeks ago Kyle got tickets to a Jazz game and asked Conner if he wanted to go and of course he did.  Before he left I told him he needed to promise me that he would stay for the entire game- because last year he went with Kyle and only wanted to stay for an hour. Well, he promised he would stay for the entire game.  So listen to what happens-  Into the 3rd quarter the Jazz are killing the other team and Kyle says to Conner, "we can go home now if you want because it looks like the Jazz are going to win this one."  Conner says No and he wants to stay.  So then, half way through the 4th quarter, the Jazz are still killing this other team and Kyle asks Conner again, "Conner do want to go home since it looks like the Jazz are going to win this one?"  Conner's reply is, "No, I told mom I would stay for the whole game and I don't want to be a liar." --- Oh!  I choked up when Kyle told me that.  He's a good kid.
