"To you women of today who are old or young, may I suggest to you that you write, that you keep journals, that you express your thoughts on paper. Writing is a great discipline. It is a tremendous education effort. It will assist you in various ways, and you will bless the lives of many-now and in the years to come, as you put on paper some of your experiences and some of your musings"
What a fun day for Max. All of his best buddies came to his Safari and had a blast. They enjoyed monkey eyes, cheetah tails and gator heads along with cupcakes. I wish i got a pic of the goodie bags but they turned out really cute
There is nothing more exciting to watch than LAX. I love watching Conner play the sport. He is really progressing and loves it. He is very lucky to have Kyle as his coach. They were 8 for 10. Made to the finals and lost to the other Alta team. Lame!
Lilly looked beautiful as always. She wore a darling white outfit which made her look extra beautiful on her baptism day. Daddy baptized and confirmed. Conner gave a talk on the baptism and he was amazing. Everyone said he sounded like a real pro. All of our family was there and wrote sweet messages to Lilly which are tucked away into a baptism book. After the baptism we come home to eat creme brule french toast and fruit. Perfect day!
We started the party at the house with treats and opened presents. Then off we went to the Lion House. Lilly said it was the best party EVER! She absolutely loved it! One relieved mommy!
The goody bags had "all things white" to represent her 8th birthday: white nail polish, white candy, and hand sanitizer with a scripture label stuck to it.
My dad, aka "Papa Joe", is a huge lover of trains which is expected since it was his life career as an engineer for Kennecott Copper Mine. He knows all there is to know about trains and how they operate. When the train show came to town he got so excited and couldn't wait to take his grandsons with him. They were almost as excited as he was. I was nervous for Max because he has never been with my dad without me. I thought he would cry but he loved it. It meant the world to my dad. Very special memory for all of us.
Conner is a huge Jazz fan and couldn't wait for this years meet and greet. He took 2 of his buddies Jake and Jayden and had an amazing time! He is lucky to have them sign the same ball that is also signed by Deron Williams ( a birthday gift by Grandpa Gum straight from D. Will.)
